Dear Dad (and Family),
we have a few computer labs to use, but still only 30 minutes. Curses. there are about 3000 missionaries here now, i think, which is cool. We made 33,400 backpack kits collectively as a service project on Thanksgiving, which was cool. Plus, we listened to Elder Holland that morning! It was so awesome! I was probably 30 yards from him in the gym, and then as we were walking out, he drove by waving to all of us on the sidewalk. Tell mom about that, I forgot to put it in her email. Sundays are peaceful, not a lot of free time, but not any learning of Korean either. it's nice to have a day to review. i'm forgoing caps now on in the interest of time. :D i'm glad to hear the jazz are doing so well, but i wish i was there to see it. i'm sure chelsea's pretty happy!
i asked mom to send microwave popcorn and cheap christmas lights to put in my room. and if you find a cool zip-up hoodie somewhere, that would also be appreciated. i have a christmas list if you want it: some sweet ties, our new family pictures, and candy. even just one of those things would be awesome. i'll try to think about what I can do for you all back home, if you have any ideas, let me know.
Love,
ElderMatt Dean
