December 7, 2010

Hi! I'm not typing in korean anymore, that takes too long. and no more caps either, sorry. :-)
thanks for the package! I was so glad to get it. i was ready for more food that day, actually. :D i'll be good for a while now, and don't stress about the hoodie. You're all busy enough as it is. guess what i did with the christmas lights? i taped them up on the wall in the shape of a christmas tree! i was so excited! it looks really cool, thank you.

so, the mail office here will be closed the 23rd through the 26th, fyi. i guess some people need time off for christmas...
dad, guess what? my companion and i have been saying some korean word for good night, and we asked our korean teacher what it meant, and we've actually been saying "stockholder" to each other each night for like two weeks now. :D
so, does anyone have any ideas on what i can get you for christmas? i know i've asked for a lot of stuff, and i feel like i've been a little needy. i'd like to give something back to you.
don't worry about learning the new Korean words, mom. i didn't think about how busy you'd be.
This next part is for Austin: the mtc is a lot like college, only way better! no bad stuff here, that's for sure, and the spirit is great. the schedule is rigorously planned out, which is ok, because then we don't waste time. i'm definitely learning how to manage time well here. the food is not great, but i try not to complain like a lot of other elders do. and no, i haven't colored my garments, thank you very much. :D
the people here are all nice--it's like a big brotherhood. we all get along pretty well. tuesdays are my p days, and i write letters and do laundry and study and try not to learn korean, because i do enough of that already on different days. :D good luck with the dance, i'm glad you didn't skip this one! don't lose the game!
the Christmas devotional was awesome! I hope you all got to see it. it was our sunday night devotional, and i really enjoyed it. i took so many notes! and i really got into the Christmas spirit.
it sounds like things are going well there. I pray for you all every day. The lord will bless us all. Dad, thanks for the letters, they helped a lot.

Love, Elder Dean
